Jordy Dibowitz (jordy.dibowitz@kcl.ac.uk)

​

Jordy Dibowitz graduated with distinction with a BA in Psychology from Reichman University. Her academic interests have centred on the brain mechanisms underlying behaviour and disease, with a growing focus on neurodegeneration and neural repair. During her undergraduate degree, she completed clinical field experience working with older adults in a psychiatric care setting, supporting patients with dementia and other neurodegenerative conditions. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Neuroscience at King’s College London and will be completing her dissertation in the lab, focusing on cell culture and in vitro drug screening in the context of spinal cord injury. Alongside this, she will be supporting ongoing work involving immunohistochemistry quantification to examine how spinal cord injury impacts the hippocampus. Outside of academia, Jordy enjoys walking, Pilates, cooking, and spending time with friends and family and has also completed paramedic training.

Megha Biju (megha.biju@kcl.ac.uk)

Megha is currently a Masters of Neuroscience student at King’s College London. She completed her undergraduate degree in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Westminster, where she developed a strong interest in translational neuroscience, particularly in drug development and neuroimaging approaches to understanding brain function and recovery. Through her MSc project, she is excited to gain hands-on laboratory experience. Outside of academia, Megha enjoys leaning languages, reading, baking, and exploring new places in London with friends.

Ignacio Rios-Foster

​

Ignacio is an undergraduate Pharmacology student at King’s College London, currently undertaking a full-year placement in the lab before returning to complete his Master’s degree. He has a strong interest in translational medicine and drug development, with a particular focus on preclinical research in the context of the CNS. Ignacio aspires to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry following graduation. Outside the lab, his interests include cooking, playing football, and traveling. He is looking forward to gaining valuable experience while contributing to the ongoing projects and goals of the lab!

Clara Meier

​

Clara graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2025 where she earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology with a concentration in neuroscience. During her undergraduate career, she was a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society and was a teaching assistant for students learning R Studio coding. She also earned her Emergency Medical Technician license and volunteered at hospitals and ambulance associations. Upon graduating, she moved to London where she is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Neuroscience, focusing on neurodegeneration and spinal cord injury. Outside of her degree, Clara enjoys traveling to new countries, spending time with her friends, and swimming.​​
